One of my dancing buddies celebrated her birthday recently. She invited me, along with a handful of other elegant ladies, to join her for afternoon tea at the Grand America Hotel dressed in full 1890s fashions. We had a charming time chatting and eating scones ensconced in our puffed sleeves.

Vintage dancing has led to so many valuable friendships and historic historical activities. I am grateful for my prancing pals… and fancy scones.
